Planning a Busy Week with the PlannerKate 12 Year Anniversary Sampler

One of my favorite things about the PlannerKate 12 Year Anniversary Sampler is how flexible it is. You don't have to use it in just one planner or one layout—it can become exactly what you need for the week ahead!

This week, Ilysse (@planwithilysse) used the sampler as a weekly dashboard overview, creating a dedicated planning space to keep everything in one place. When life gets busy, it's easy for important tasks and reminders to end up scattered between planners, sticky notes, and random scraps of paper. A weekly dashboard gives you one central spot to see appointments, priorities, to-dos, and plans at a glance while your regular planner handles the day-to-day details.

One of my favorite parts of Ilysse's layout is how she customized it to fit her needs. She paired the Anniversary Sampler with a few leftover stickers from previous PlannerKate kits, proving that mixing and matching is a great way to stretch your sticker collection.

Those extra bullet points and functional boxes blended seamlessly into the spread!

She also has a fantastic reminder for every planner: don't be afraid to cut your stickers!

Rather than trying to make every sticker fit perfectly right out of the package, Ilysse trimmed V-103 to match the lines on her notepaper, creating a clean running "Plans" list. It's a simple adjustment, but it makes the sticker look like it was designed specifically for that page.

That's one of the best parts of functional planning—your stickers work for you, not the other way around. A quick trim here or there can help you customize layouts, maximize your space, and make every page feel intentional.

Whether you use the Anniversary Sampler in a weekly spread, a notes page, a dashboard, or somewhere else entirely, don't be afraid to get creative. Combine it with leftovers from your stash, resize stickers when needed, and build a planning system that fits your life.

Ilysse's functional weekly dashboard is a perfect reminder that sometimes the simplest layouts are the ones that help us stay the most organized.

Happy planning!
