👋 Get to Know Ilysse
Ilysse is a 38-year-old planner from New Jersey who has spent nearly nine years managing a digital marketing agency. She’s currently transitioning into a part-time role to focus on growing her content creation business—something she’s incredibly passionate about!
When she’s not working or planning, you can find Ilysse cheering on her niece and nephew at soccer games, making homemade pizza with her fiancé, or relaxing on the couch with a true crime documentary.
✂️ How Her Planning Journey Began
Creativity has always been part of Ilysse’s life. Growing up, she and her mom made it a tradition to try new crafts every summer. In 2018, while feeling stressed from spending long hours on the computer, Ilysse visited Michaels looking for a new hobby—and stumbled upon an entire aisle of planners and stickers.
That moment sparked her love for planning. She was excited to find something that was both creative and productive, and she’s been planning ever since!

Ilysse first found PlannerKate in 2018 when she started seeing sticker kits shared in the community. One of her first purchases was several bundles—likely during what we now know as Misfit Mondays—so she could try out different designs.

Most of Ilysse’s planning setup is filmed on camera—but here’s a fun behind-the-scenes detail; She usually films in the morning right after showering, often with a towel still wrapped around her hair! It’s all part of keeping things real and relatable.

Ilysse shares her planning journey primarily through YouTube, where she posts an impressive seven videos per week! Her content is consistent, informative, and inspiring for planners at every stage. She’s also active on Instagram, connecting with her community and sharing daily planning moments.
